Reliable product. It configures with Square register and Ipad stand. I already had a pair with my original POS square system. When I went to get another for my other store location I got the same product as it worked well and pairs well with square. If it works don’t fix it, so I got the same again.

Apple POS systems are popular among business owners because they’re affordable and easy to learn and use. Despite their popularity, it wasn’t simple to print a receipt from an iPad POS solution—until now. Star Micronics’ new TSP65411 is the first AirPrint-certified receipt printer on the market, that allows users to print from their Apple POS system without any extra steps. In addition to groundbreaking technology, the new printer also includes the quality features and design details that meet Apple’s high operational standards.
I spent several hours on the phone with Star tech support trying to figure out if I did something wrong during the set up, but they said everything was installed correctly. After changing settings and trying the printer out for a couple more days, the same problems kept occurring. Eventually we decided it was a defective unit so we ordered another one. They sent us the USB printer, NOT the ethernet printer we obviously need for our restaurant. By then, we had gotten so fed up with Star I decided to return them both. When trying to return the malfunctioning ethernet printer, Amazon gave us the run around and sent us to Star, who sent us back to Amazon, who sent us to Star in a never ending paradox.
With included internal power supply, power cables, complete mounting kits, and paper roll, the TSP100III is the perfect printer for any mPOS bundle. In this day and age, customers expect to see their favorite restaurants and stores using technologies similar to the ones they use on a daily basis. That’s why today’s top retailers and restaurateurs are turning to tablets and Apple iPads to run their businesses.

*Note: We have had some Sellers complain about the receipts printing over too many pages when they want it to only print on one. The trick is to reduce the scale of the image within your printing options until it fits. (see screenshot)
Rajib’s love for the road is second only to his love for photography. Wanderlust at heart and a shutterbug who loves to document his travels via his lenses; his two passions compliment each other perfectly. He has been writing for over 8 years now, which unsurprisingly, revolve mostly around his two favorite pursuits.
A completely green design, the SereneLife portable printer comes with a cartridge that loads up enough paper and ink for about 10 prints. Just about enough of both to ensure that it prints the full number of prints as paper loaded into it and so that there is wastage. The whole cartridge gets changed after the ‘ink’ and the paper is exhausted. You don’t have to handle individual ink cartridges. So, there is no smudging or leakage in the fingers and so on.
Communicating with your handheld through an RS-232C cable, USB cable or Bluetooth interfaces. The Infinite-Peripherals DPP-350 ruggedized, compact and are a cost-effective Bluetooth printing solution.
The iPad app has additional customization settings that I didn’t notice on the phone app. The larger screen makes setting up your account and using the service much more user friendly. And if you decide you want to pull the iPad out and use it as a portable device, you can do that too.

The housing of the Star TSP100ECO printer is made of halogen-free recycled plastic (white covers may contain trace amounts of halogen) and can endure heavy regular use. This POS receipt printer is even shipped in fully recyclable packaging made from recycled materials.
why is the mPOP having some many issues with PayPal? so slow, sometimes will take printer offline, everything is so messed up so often, it’s useless! yet it is supposed to be compatible! I have a iPad and am using PayPal Here. it’s too sporadicly working to be useful. Am I doing something wrong? please help.
An update 11/21/15 Had it working fine with Amazon local register until Amazon shut it down, so bought the PayPal chip and card reader- the updated paypal iOs app will not print to this printer. (iOs 9.1/ iPad 3). The workaround I found was to turn this printer in to an airprint printer- it’s a bit of a hack, instructions are out there, problem being you must have a host computer on the network. To be clear- this is a PayPal issue- not a fault of the printer.
This is a fantastic product, worked as expected with tons of options and the ability to configure settings is very handy. Everything installed properly and it works despite not having a dedicated POS server! The ability to reduce receipt size has been a huge thing for us. Only issue we ran into was an issue on our side of things not fully uninstalling our old drivers, but once we did a full uninstall it worked like a dream. The ability of the printer to cut the receipt off for us has been a big help and makes them look much more professional over all and speeds things up considerably more than we expected.

Buyer beware – not that the product itself is bad, it’s fine HOWEVER they fail (as does Square) to mention that this USB printer cannot be used as a chit printer. SO if you are buying this set up for a restaurant and thought it could be a bar station and print both receipts for the bartender..and bar orders…it can not it does not show up on the Square network only on the specific device it is USB connected to. If you are not using remote printing at all, and just need receipts from one terminal.. it is totally fine.
