Mini Bluetooth Printer Android | Square No Printer Station Disabled

Check the running cost and total cost of ownership if you can. Unfortunately, this may be impossible for near-dedicated photo printers, since there’s currently no widely accepted standard for calculating cost per photo. For dedicated photo printers, however, the cost per photo is typically easy to calculate, because most manufacturers sell print packs with enough ink and paper for a given number of photos.
If you have a Square Stand, in addition to the printers above, you can use certain USB interface receipt printers. The following receipt printers are only compatible with the Square Stand, not the Square card reader:
The TSP100III is the faster, easier, and better solution for POS receipt printing. Already a leading player in the mPOS market, Star Micronics’ TSP100III is offered with WLAN, LAN, or Bluetooth connectivity for an easy-to-use and ready-to-go installation. Learn more about the TSP100III series here.
I wasn’t sure of your iPad model, so I may not have answered fully your question.  And what I wrote only applies to the iPad, not the iPad Air.  Here’s a Square Support page that talks about iPad compatibility: Recommended Hardware for Square Stand.

Purchased for an art show and it was so simple to download the app and use. It was quick and efficient and customers loved the availability for POS purchases. I was even able to email out receipts and invoices. It was such a lifesaver.
So I like the stand and it would get a 5 star review, but I’m not exactly sure that I got a brand new item or not. The product came in the most amazing package, would remind you of Apple…but on the front of the stand frame around the ipad there are tiny scratches, it’s not smooth like you’d expect something brand new to be. Also the swipe part that actually runs the card through, the plastic is ill fitting. You can squeeze the back wall of this part and the plastic is bulging out at least 1mm or two and you can see it’s not sitting flush with the rest of the stand…The seams should be spot on like they are with the rest of the stand…but they’re not. Would love to exchange it and give another stand a try, maybe I just got a funky one?

Hi @SRayVon, you may be referring to the “30-pin” connector models of iPad.  I have an old iPad 2 and an almost-as-old iPad 3 and they have the 30-pin connector.  The new Square Stand works with the “Lightning” connector, not the 30-pin connector.  The old Square Stands that work with the 30-pin connector are no longer made.  I found one on Craigslist, but since they are rare, used 30-pin Square Stands usually cost more than a new Lightning Square Stand.
To adjust to front load and top load, you take the two covers off, and then you switch it. One of the sides has little rubber feet, so if you move that. And then you replace the second cover, now you’re in a top load version.
I spent several hours on the phone with Star tech support trying to figure out if I did something wrong during the set up, but they said everything was installed correctly. After changing settings and trying the printer out for a couple more days, the same problems kept occurring. Eventually we decided it was a defective unit so we ordered another one. They sent us the USB printer, NOT the ethernet printer we obviously need for our restaurant. By then, we had gotten so fed up with Star I decided to return them both. When trying to return the malfunctioning ethernet printer, Amazon gave us the run around and sent us to Star, who sent us back to Amazon, who sent us to Star in a never ending paradox.
As VanKalkerFarms answer states, Point of Sale is not compatible with standard desktop printers at this time. A possible solution might be to view your receipts on your online Dashboard after the transaction is complete and you can print them from there on a desktop printer.

Another nice touch is that they include a CD which allows you to customize the printer (add logos, sync with POS systems, custom data to add once the receipt is printed, etc). Keep in mind though, this customization works with certain POS systems, not all. On Square, I can’t tell the printer to print out all of the extra stuff since the POS for Square is very simplified.
There is an optional battery. This allows you to take this printer practically everywhere. At a party, at school or even an outdoor event. Allows you to make images and hand out prints as souvenirs as marketing material and so on. On a full charge the battery stores enough power to make up to 54 prints.
Impact printers are typically the most affordable and are suited to damp environments like a kitchen but they’re a bit slower than other models. Thermal printers are fast and quiet but require toner to function, and inkjet printers are fast and give high quality prints but are generally the most expensive.

The power cord cleverly mounts flush under the base and faces either right or left, depending upon your choice. It stays in place as the base rotates. The charger keeps the iPad trickle charged to 100 percent and also acts as the main power source when plugged in, saving your battery.
The TSP143III is shipped with auto-connect enabled by default. This means that a paired printer will connect automatically whenever it’s turned on and within range of the iPad it has been paired with.
a great product. light and portable, easy set up plus fast printing speed. works great with my ios. It’s a perfect choice for a small restaurant to print receipt. Planning to buy more spools for future usage.
I am having issues with printer USB connectivity. iPad recognizes square stand and the square stand also charged the iPad. But the USB hub will no longer charge chip reader nor will the printer’s green light turn on. I also just updated my iPad to iOS 9.3.1

Nice little portable printer. It isn’t as slow as some of the reviewers mentioned, and we use it with Square, so it will print a custom photo-based logo right onto the receipt. One reviewer said you had to pay extra to remove the Star logo – this was not my experience, however. We bought the neck strap, and a padded camera-type case to carry the printer, power supply, extra battery, Square card readers.
POS printers often include display screens that allow customers to view items as employees scan or manually enter them for the transaction. This simple display helps purchasers verify pricing and review tax information at a glance, ensuring they receive the advertised prices.
This thing works awesome, and there are tons of other reviews, so read those for more info. Only problem we have had is the stand has a hard time connecting to chip reader occasionally. When you open the program for the first time, there is like a 10% chance it won’t connect to chip reader. You have to quit app and restart. Gets old.
One thing for an inexperienced person to note is to set The max print to 48mm as the rest is for margins and would mess up The prints of you impinge further than 48mm. The loyverse app did not meet my requirements so I found another app W&O POS, however, all important features must be purchased so if you know how to do a quick Google search.. You may circumvent some requirements.

Most of these devices offer batteries (standard or optional), so you need not be near a wall outlet to print. Some of the smallest models can wirelessly print wallet-size photos exclusively from smartphones or tablets. Then there are label printers, some of which print from label programs installed on a computer, and some of which are standalone models.

Said Bluetooth in the description and it is not. Bought specificity for that feature. My business(restaurants) buys a lot of equipment like this and by the time I found out it’s not what was described I was unable to return. Will not purchase from this vendor again.

It’s been about three years since I excepted credit cards. The last device I used was pogo through provident bank. Which did not work out at all. The Device made an error and it was fixed but I lost $700 in the process due to processing fees but they refused to refund me. The problem is there’s too many hands involved and they have you on the phone going in circles. The evil leader being First Data they just kept eating money out of my account and I was helpless and could not stop it. So This left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. But after working for a few years I started to lose customers because I did not except credit card so I decided if square a chance. And I started taking credit cards. I have processed roughly $11,000 in three days for deposits on jobs and some payments. I was watching my account getting ready for to be deposited. After three days nothing. Did not realize that square tried to contact me because of the large amount of transactions and they put a hold on my account. I thought to myself here we go again. They requested a list of documents and proof of identity. I thought it would take weeks for them to process it. By 12 o’clock the next day they processed it and released the funds. That impressed me. And ever since it has been great. Money is quick about 12-24 hours. So give them a shot. They deserve it.
Plug and Play – Square network picked it up assigned and working in seconds. We have two of these (Thermal) and two impact versions and literally, we were talking about how long it would take to set them up…my brother was on the device and I was in the kitchen…i plugged them in and before I even walked through the door he had them set up and assigned. Magic!
The TSP100ECO, the world’s first ECO POS receipt printer, further extends the legacy that is the TSP100 futurePRNT. The TSP100ECO supports Star’s commitment to being ecologically responsible while allowing Star to continue to provide a high-speed, software enriched, economical choice for users.
The device uses a special paper type and ink. The interesting thing is the amount of ink the printer comes with just the right amount for the number of paper loaded into the device. That can be 18, 36 or 54. The idea is to minimize wastage of paper and ink as much as possible. Canon calls this the Dye Sublimation technology. This technology ensures that the images you print will remain smudge free and fade free for decades. Undoubtedly, the Selphy CP1200 is one of the best portable photo printers in the business.
