Works as advertised. No on/off switch. It instantly wakes up when I run the Square register app on our IPAD Air 2 POS with the Square stand. The printing is fast and easily readable. It is very nice when the combination of products (I.E. Square Stand, Square Register, IPAD Air 2 and this printer) works so well together.
Pay Pal says this is compatible, but the few reps I have spoken with are not really familiar enough to guide me through. My LG Optimus phone runs T-Mobile 4g. I connected stand alone router(LAN?) to printer. I am guessing there is a conflict and I need to disconnect 4g or whatever wifi is connected to phone in order to pick-up signal from LAN router, assuming I can’t receive two simultaneous signals. That would disconnect me from Pay Pal transaction. Don’t know what I missing, but so far it’s a lot of wasted time and money. There’s no customer service that I can find with printer and the user guide is scant. I’ll take another look at Star website, but don’t expect to find a solution there. A USB connection would have likely prevented many issues/
I got this device cuz i liked the concept of a portable printer that you take on the go. Also the fact that u get a quick zero ink pics., i really wanted to try that. I was not desapionted, actually i like this printer alot and my friends around me all go mouth open when they see it working. So heres my experience in this product so far.

If you are setting up a larger POS application and want a multifunction printer, you need to get their cat5 version, same company…looks and acts exactly the same except is on the network, not USB…then just buy the cash drawer by itself. I have not tried the wireless printers, but the USB is not as versital and basically the same price.
This compact, mobile Bluetooth receipt printer pairs wirelessly with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The printer offers 2-inch/58 mm wide receipt printing using direct thermal technology. Ideal for use with mobile applications such as Mobile POS, it has an LCD display and belt clip.
I got it for scrapbooking and a travel journal. Don’t expect high quality and res prints, it’s a tiny mobile printer after all. If you want high quality prints, mobile printers aren’t what you’re looking for. I did extensive research to compare between the Polaroid ZIP, Instax Share, HP Sprocket and Kodak and image quality, yellow/reddish vintage-like hues and lower res images seem to be the prevalent complaint. I settled on Polaroid because the app allowed collages and white frames for the polaroid effect. It seemed to have better options than the other apps.

This is one of the more common thermal receipt printers used with Square Payments. It generally costs less than $200. It come in white and black color. It has an auto-cutter to slice thermal receipt paper for you. It uses thermal paper so you never never need to fill it with ink. It is generally easy to maintain and add paper when you need it. Hi, Travis from POSGuys.com. Today we’ll be reviewing the M series of printers from Epson. This is the TM-M30 and the TM-M10 receipt printers. They’re both thermal receipt printers, they’re similar form factor where they’re very square. This is the 3-inch version, this is the 2-inch version. By 3-inch version, this means this uses standard receipt printer of 3 inch width, and this uses a 2 inch, smaller receipt paper. They’re both top load or front load, this is set into front-load version, this is set in to top-load version. They print at a reasonable rate, this is an 8-inch per second, and this is a 6-inch per second. The 8-inch per second is the same as the current model TM-T20ii version, so it’s the same print speed, it’s just a much more compact form factor.
