With dedicated photo printers, almost any inkjet or thermal dye printer will at least match the output quality you’ll typically see in drugstore prints. ZINK technology is currently limited to printers with either a 2-by-3- or 4-by-6-inch print size, and offers lower-quality output, which is best described as good enough for photos that will wind up in a wallet or behind a refrigerator magnet. Whatever printer you’re considering, be sure to check on the output quality before buying.
So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, pure speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. If you operate a mobile food cart or food truck, THIS is the receipt printer you want. In all Honesty, it took me more time to read through the manual than it did to connect to my Ipad. For the record, I am using this receipt printer with Square Register.
I have a Star Micronics TSP100 Trueprint USB printer and the Squarestand.  When I plug the printer into the USB block connected to the square stand, it is not recognized by the square register software.
A completely green design, the SereneLife portable printer comes with a cartridge that loads up enough paper and ink for about 10 prints. Just about enough of both to ensure that it prints the full number of prints as paper loaded into it and so that there is wastage. The whole cartridge gets changed after the ‘ink’ and the paper is exhausted. You don’t have to handle individual ink cartridges. So, there is no smudging or leakage in the fingers and so on.
The RJ-3150 model features a large, full-color graphical LCD display – an industry first – with intuitive, interactive menus that simplify printing of 1-inch to 3-inch wide shelf edge labels, POS receipts and product labels. We first bought the Wifi model and couldn’t get the manufacturer or Square to figure out how to make the two communicate, even though it’s supposed to be supported. We were told to return that and switch to this blue tooth model. Now this one won’t communicate with Square either. It’s the only receipt printer that Square publishes it supports. We don’t have any odd setup, all brand new peripheral equipment, new iPad, Square stand/Register. Hours on support with both and no resolution to date.
In addition, the TSP650II BTi comes with three-year limited manufacturer warranty (U.S. and Canada) with Swap-A-Star next business day replacement coverage warranty (U.S.), so you can be confident about your printer’s performance.

Overall, this is a great printer. I can’t complain about the price because for similar thermal printers, this is relatively cheap. Any cheaper and there are issues with printing mechanics and whatnot.
The SM-T300i also offers 3” (80mm) “Drop-In & Print” paper loading, high reliability (37 million lines MCBF) and high print speeds of up to 75mm per second; standard and 2D barcode support, intuitive LCD display easy setup facility, configurable auto power down mode and a long-lasting battery life.

Bluetooth Nightmare. I shelled out a bunch of cash to be able to use the Bluetooth printer with my iPAD/Square Register system. Initially it was a pain in the neck to connect to and it would randomly drop the connection. After a couple months the printer stopped connecting. Very disappointed in this product. When you pay $400 plus for a printer you should expect it to work as it is stated. I would not recommend by this product. You will be embarrassed in front of your customer when the printer fails you. It could severely impact your reputation and business when your less experience techy people are trying to reconnect the printer and you will be sadly disappointed in a couple months when it finally fails to connect just like the other reviews stated.
