Bought this strictly to print receipts with the Amazon Local Register iPad App and card reader, as it is the only receipt printer supported at this time by that platform. (Bought it used via an Amazon re-seller; works perfectly. It was easy to set up on the network using the downloadable Windows software. Once set up, my iPad and the Amazon Local Register app found the printer and linked to it easily. I haven’t tried using any of the other options (like printing our logo or printing coupons), but for what I bought it for it works perfectly. It prints extremely fast and clearly. The cutter works well, too. It is nice that it can be mounted to a vertical surface if desired.

I need to print 2 copies of our receipts. This printer does not allow you to change those settings. I was told the “lower end” models dont allow you to. I did not realize I was purchasing a “lower end” printer.
Has this issue been resolved? I am still having issues with my app registering the stand which was working fine before but suddenly one day it stopped responding. It charges the iPad Air 2 and the iPad registers the stand in the (About) section but the actual square register does not connect with it. I ordered a replacement stand because I am losing business with this inconvenience.
Note that the type of paper you use can make a difference in the overall effect for a given image, so ask what papers are available for the printer. Most manufacturers offer an assortment of fine art papers for near-dedicated photo printers. In many cases, you can also get paper-specific color profiles for a given printer so you can use it with third-party fine art papers as well.
