Troubleshooting printers can be a simple matter, but can become a very complex issue if the wrong procedures are performed. It is highly recommended that a Certified Lavu Reseller or local IT Professional be used to troubleshoot any network or printer issues. Lavu is limited in its ability to troubleshoot printers remotely.
Apple MFi certified with Bluetooth support for iOS, Android and Windows, the TSP650II BTi features the best of both worlds by coupling the comfort of legacy products with the speed and connection options demanded today in fast-paced mobile point of sale environments.

UPDATE: August 14, 2016 – Still no issues with printing. There is a slight delay, about five seconds, between completing the transaction and printing the receipt. This could very well be an issue using Square Payment Systems, and not really the printer and the IPad that I’ve linked it to for Square sales. The printer does lose its Bluetooth connection when I move the IPad to the next room, which is expected, but it often does not “find” and then “pair” again without me going through the printer’s pairing process again. For that reason, I’m lowering my star rating from five to four. In the scheme of things, this is just a minor inconvenience and the printer quality more than makes up for any issues with pairing from time to time.
The TSP650II BTi’s “Just Works” SSP profile makes the pairing process very simple to use. It allows for a quick connection without the hassle of a passkey or having to choose between iOS and Android modes. In addition, the TSP650II includes the ability to print receipts or data from a web browser-based application running on a mobile device wirelessly by configuring Star’s WebPRNT Browser.
The TSP100 series printer is a direct-line thermal printer with a clam-shell mechanism. It includes an “error reporting feature” which indicates if there has been a lost network connection by flashing its “error” lights.
Overall, this is a great printer. I can’t complain about the price because for similar thermal printers, this is relatively cheap. Any cheaper and there are issues with printing mechanics and whatnot.
SP700 – Turn off the printer, press and hold the paper feed button while turning the printer back on. You will hear a quiet beep then the print head will adjust and second beep will be heard. Once you hear the second beep, release the paper feed button. Two reports will print out, only the second one is of importance. The second report will have a header along the lines of “Network Card…” and at the bottom of this report will be an IP Address.

I bought his to use with my ipad and square point of sale system when I occasionally do craft shows. So far so good. I wish it automatically connected with Square when I open the app but I have to connect under setting- my only complaint. Other than that it performs nicely, is very light and compact and reliably prints a decent easy to read receipt.
– I still don’t get it why it’s 250$ and my Brother general purpose laser printer is only 80$. Seems like anything that is remotely business related goes (3x the price) for no reason, just cause they assume you’re full of money.

Great product and great company to work with. I at first ordered the TSP143U which is a USB Printer to work with a Tablet to set up a POS system at my business. Once I got it, I realized that if I had the printer plugged into the tablet there was no additional port to then charge the tablet. I contacted the company and they gladly accepted my return and let me reorder this LAN Printer. I highly recommend this vendor and their product.

I purchased this printer as a compliment for Square Register, it works beautifully! There is almost no setup, I plugged it into the USB hub provided with Square Register, went into setup on the register and it recognized it immediately. Printed the test page and then printed a transaction, super easy. I highly recommend this printer if you’re a Square Register user. I’ll be buying more as we continue to expand our business.
